Schedule
Day 1:-(Arrival) Guwahati:
Pickup from Guwahati Railway station And Transfer to hotel. After that evening time visit the local market to buy some souvenirs for your loved ones. Fancy Bazaar, NEDFi Haat, and Govt. Emporium are few famous local markets from where you can buy handicrafts, silk products, crockery, footwear and many more local items. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2:- Guwahati (Sightseeing):
You will be picked up from Guwahati hotel. The trip will commence in the morning when our representative will pick you up from your hotel. Your tour starts with a Darshan at
• Kamakhya Temple
• Bhubaneswari Temple
Thereafter, proceed by boat to peacock island and the Umananda Temple Darshan which is situated in the middle of Brahmaputra River. On the peacock island, you will get to witness the unique Golden Langur. Visit to the Assam State Museum. Finally, end the beautiful day with a thrilling evening river cruise on the mighty river Brahmaputra. Return back to the hotel and spend overnight at hotel in Guwahati.
Day 3:- Guwahati – Kaziranga:
After an early breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park, check in on arrival, after refreshment and after lunch we will proceed to the park for wildlife safari by jeep. Have a sumptuous dinner at the resort. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga
Day 4:- Kaziranga – Shillong
Early in the morning, proceed for an elephant safari from 5.30 AM to 6.30 AM in the western range of the national park. The main attraction of this wildlife park includes one-horned rhinoceros, tiger, wild buffalo, elephant, variety of deer, python, and variety of migratory birds among others. It is home to one-third of the world's population of one-horned rhinoceros.
Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Shillong. On arrival, you will have an assisted check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can explore the local markets or try some delicious cuisines. You can go shopping in the local market and buy some souvenirs. One can also stroll around the lanes of the hill station and experience the majestic beauty of the city. The soothing climate and the mesmerizing natural beauty of the city can take your breath away. Have a delightful dinner at your resort. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 5:- Shillong – Mawlynnong – Shillong
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Visit Jingmaham Living Root Bridge, Mawlynong Village, and waterfalls. Jingmahan Living Root Bridge. These bridges are an incredible place to witness the purest form of nature's strength. After this, visit Dawki. A small border town in the Jaintia Hills, Dawki and its famed river Umngot are must-visit places in Meghalaya. Sandwiched between India and Bangladesh, Dawki is a major center of trade between both countries. The small city, besides being a trade hub is also famous for its tourism, with many people flocking to the town to enjoy a boat ride on its famed Umngot River and enjoy the nearby sights and sounds. After that, you will leave for Shillong. Return to the hotel in Shillong and have a delicious dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 6:- Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
After breakfast explore Apatani Villages and nearby areas overnight at Ziro
Day 7:- Departure from Guwahati
After breakfast, proceed to Guwahati Railway Station for Drop.
